2012 Favorites and brainstorming on Shooting Academics

1. Why did you pick this photo?
I like this picture because it gives a sense of bleakness in studying, but it also has symmetrical balance that is very pleasing. The distortion (the curving of the library shelves next to the person) are also very unique.
2. What rules of photography are evident in the photo?

The Rule of Balance.

1. Why did you pick this photo?
It looked very unique because the teacher holds an expression of thinking, while her work is shown right next to her.
2. What rules of photography are evident in the photo?
The Rule of Thirds.

Shooting on the 24th and 26th.
3. Where do you think you could take photos like the ones you look at today?
In a science class or a math class.
4. Whose classroom would you like to visit and take photos in?
Ms. Flick in C Hall could be good as she has a very dynamic way of teaching, or maybe Ms. Beatty, a science teacher (could have lab experiments).
5. What will you do, as the photographer, to get amazing photos like you look at today?
Hopefully if there is something of interest I can shoot it. Other than that, using rule of thirds, balance, to take pictures of the teacher teaching or the students working.
